Character Description: Alimaya is a fantastical bird-like goddess of the wind. She has a beak-like face and her hair resembles long feathers. As one of the few beings to exist in the beginning of times when the world was just sea and skies, she represented the wind. Like a gentle breeze, she would glide silently through the air. Eventually, she got tired of her endless journey. Deciding she wanted a place to sit and rest her legs, she angered the sky and the sea until the sky peppered the sea with mounds of dirt, resulting in the creation of the islands of the Philippines. She is mischievous and nosy, always wanting to know the latest gossip. Her quiet movements allow her to snoop into anyone's conversations, even those of other gods.

Personality Traits: Just like the goddess, Alimayas are free spirits. They exist at the beginning of the zodiac, with nothing to hold them back or tell them where to go. This freedom of choice isn't scary to an Alimaya. Their naturally optimistic nature leads them to see the potential in everything they touch. For many Alimayas, this is their greatest strength. They are flexible and creative, and they don't let anything hold them back.

Deep down, Alimayas are problem-solvers. While they don't mind just going wherever the wind blows, their ability to see possibilities naturally lends itself to strong critical thinking. Just as the goddess bothered the sea and sky into creating land for her to rest, an Alimaya will not stop until their objectives are complete - even if they have to think a bit outside the box to do it.

Unfortunately, Alimayas can struggle to differentiate between when other people need actual solutions, or when they just want empathy. An Alimaya always means well when they offer advice but not everyone is ready to take it. Even if it's really good advice. Luckily for an Alimaya though, they always have just the thing ready when someone needs problem-solving.
